Find your Diameter

Diameter is the measurement across the inner width of a ring, going from one side to the other.

You'll Need:

  • A ring that fits you
  • Ruler 

Step 1: 

Find a ring that fits

Step 2: 

Lay ring on top of ruler, and measure the widest area inside the ring from inner edge to inner edge. Round to the closest whole millimeter.

Step 3: 

If your ring is a different shape and is not circular, measure the shortest distance across.

Use the diameter measurement you've just found, and consult the chart to see which ring size corresponds with your measurement.

Find your Circumference

Circumference is the measurement around the base of the finger.

You'll Need:

  • Strip of paper or string
  • Pen
  • Ruler 

Step 1: 

Wrap a string comfortably around the desired finger.

Step 2: 

With a pen or marker, mark the spot where the string or paper meets and feels comfortable. 

Step 3: 

Lay the string or strip of paper on a flat surface and measure its length in millimeters.

Use the circumference you just found, and consult the chart to see which ring size corresponds to your measurement.
